Answering Your Questions on Behalf of Anet

Why did they add keg brawl to the activity rotation, effeftively making a game that was available 24/7 only available one day a week? These are the hot topics man. Tyria demands an answer.
I think that was because nobody was playing it (or not enough) and same with the rest of the activities, so they made all of them rotate so they would never be empty.

Dear lord………………
if you think these are the most urgent problems GW2 has you need some reality checks.
If i wouldn’t know better i would say this is a perfect A-Net answer.
People: we want contend. A-Net:
We agree, we will work on a wardrobe.
People: We want more skills and more game play.
A-Net: We totally agree… this armor clipping must be fixed
People: There is nothing beside farming and countless repeating
A-Net: We see this is a huge problem. Soon we will deliver a hair make over kit.
You should send your papers to A-Net they will hire you instantly
First of all, I didn’t say these are the most urgent, I said that they are frequently asked.

Living Story IS content. it is. there is no denying that. When a new LS chapter comes out it takes me about 2 hours to get through it. If you don’t care about the story then of course its gonna take you 20 minutes, but if you can speed run a new dungeon in 10 minutes, that doesn’t make it only 10 minutes worth of content. It takes 2 hours the first time through, and then a bunch more hours when i am replaying it for achievements and on my alts for loot.
Not only do they add LS missions, but they have also added megabosses and Dry Top. I bet you don’t like dry top. But if they make a raid and you don’t like it, that doesn’t make it not content. A new map with a bunch of new events is the same as WoW adding a new map with a bunch of new quests. Its content.

Players all really wanted a wardrobe, so they made one. Players are asking for clipping fixes. How long do you think the hair makeover kit took to develop? The hair makeover kit isn’t the reason that the game has a lot of farming

While I do agree those aren’t exactly the more urgent problems of the game, the wardrobe system (or something very close to it) at least was a very frequently requested feature, and IMHO it is one of the things Anet did very good in the game.
wrapped up in some crazy ritualist hoo-ha from Cantha.
A real grab bag of ‘you can’t hurt me. They’re called Guardians.
A lot of times it just seems like the official forums are where all the angry peasants and hobos gather up to yell at Lord Arenanet from outside the castle.
This, so much this. I think most of those people aren’t even active players… I think the only reason they come here is to complain… I sometimes wonder if ANet shouldn’t implement a policy that prevents people from posting on the forums if they haven’t logged-in to the game in 6 months. Sure you’d be hurting people who want to honestly return to GW2 and have real questions. But on the other hand it would also lock out a lot of the pitchfork and torch wielding crowd…

So all they’d have to do is log on once every six months? That’s not a lot of effort if they are really determined to storm the castle.
I suppose it would lock out anyone who has uninstalled the game.
