Any PVE/ living world Events planned?

Hey people!
I am relatively new to the game so firstly, I apologise if this has been asked before ????
I know that the expansion is due this year sometime, but I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about any PVE/Living World Events?
For example The mad king, A very merry Wintersday ect?

I’m pretty sure that all the holiday events will still happen, but nothing was officially announced.
We’ll have a quite big patch before HoT release introducing the new specialization system, but the elite specializations will come only with HoT.

Charter Vanguard [CV] – HoD
~~Bardy Belzebuson – Ranger~~ Sir Belzebu – Herald
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
