I absolutely cannot stand my Charr Ranger. He is 80. I got to max level only to find out that the max armor currently available for medium armor looks horrible.

If I recall correctly, someone from Anet said that they do not plan to offer race changes.

I saw it a while ago, so if you’d like a source… well get digging.

You should told them to change medium armor design because even in other races, medium armor looks horrible too.

Ive seen Medium Armor on a Human, it looks perfectly fine.

I agree with Vaatlaw. I would love a race changer, at least have a cosmetic race changer. I could seriously care less about lore. I want cosmetics (which is why I am going for my legendary). Medium armor sucks on charr.

This. Either they’d have to completely reset your personal story, or you’d have a Charr running around who was best friends with Logan Thackeray and who had human parents.

So reset the story….lol. What a simple solution.

I would use this, I just started my second engineer because I love the class, hate my race.

Instead of resetting the story as it would be easier to complete with new found levels and gear, only make it available if you have finished your story.

Is there any mmo EVER that has allowed a race change?
For GW2 it would be too hard to switch over because your personal story and cultural armor get impacted.
