So am I missing out on anything by not doing this wintersday(xmas/new years holiday event)? Like armor wise? I could care less about the xp and gold and stuff like that.

Tixx’s marvelous miniature toys are available once again! Complete the Wintersday meta achievement to receive Tixx’s Toybox, which will grant you one of Tixx’s toys: a Mini Ventari, Mini Plush Griffon, Mini Princess Doll, Mini Toy Golem, or Mini Toy Soldier.

Wintersday gifts have been updated for the new year. Open them for chances at crafting materials (including the coveted ascended crafting materials), Essence of Luck, new crafting recipes, and more. To show off Wintersday pride, keep an eye out for special rare items such as the adorable Mini Ho-Ho-Tron, the returning Unbreakable Choir Bell, new Endless Tonic recipes, and recipes for the new ascended back-slot items: Light of Dwayna and Shadow of Grenth.
The gift-exchange vendors have returned to Lion’s Arch. Players can exchange their unwanted gifts for something else.

Completing The Nightmare Ends story instance will reward players with a new Antitoxin Injector Skin (back-slot item).
Finishing the Nightmare’s Aftermath meta-achievement will award players a Tricolor Key.
The Tri-key Chest can now be found in Kessex Hills.
Pieces of the key for the Tri-key Chest can be dropped by creatures throughout Kessex Hills or can be acquired through trade with Marjory’s helper, Dee, back at Thunder Ridge Camp.

I dont really pve that much. Is there anything for PvP’ers? like the fused gauntlets awhile back (I have them dont need them again just wondering if theres another special armor)?
But as for PvE, I pretty much have all the current armor I like but was wondering if there was a special holiday outfit I would be missing out on.

Just the two craftable back pieces that were mentioned before. Personally, I find the angelic wings to be quite awesome for some of my characters, but your opinion of the two pieces may vary.

EDIT: And they are really only special cosmetically. The stats aren’t anything great at all.

There are two helm skins (Grenth and Stag) available in the gem store for the next few days only. You choose whether to make them PvE or PvP when you first use them and can apply them to any armor weight. 500 gems each.

thanks for replies. I have a bit too much helmets and backpieces, thats all they seem to give out. Would really like more gauntlets, chestpiece, legpiece but its whatever. Like a santa suit or something. Anyways I guess I’ll pass but this game is B2P so I’ll be back later. Thanks again for replies.
