Sometimes on special occasions they make gem store promotions adding back for a short time old items. I guess you’ll have to wait and see…
Whether something is either wrong or right, someone will always complain about it.
I think there is more chance for a Rox plushie backpack tbh, but we can hope! ;D

They really never should have removed it in the first place. People will either buy it because they want it then or not at all. All it does is punish people who weren’t playing during the short window of time it was in the store.

Its called impulse buying or shopping. They release something for a limited time so you have to buy it RIGHT NOW or miss out. That way you get people who wouldn’t typically spend the money on the product buying it.

Things are in the store for more than long enough to allow people to decide if they really want it or not. Impulse buying comes from things like their black Friday deals going on right now that are for 24hours only, not from items in the store for 2 weeks or more.

I’m certain it will make a return someday, as will the old unlimited gathering tools. They will probably be brought back for special occasions like the yearly anniversary of GW2.
Wish I could give you mine I accidently bought it and ANET won’t refund item so it is taking up bank space, almost destroyed it a few times but something keeps telling me to wait.

Well if you haven’t soulbound it/transmuted it I’m sure you could send in a request for them to “gift” it to OP since, if I remember right, gifting wasn’t available.
Not saying this is guaranteed but hell, if a stuck up company like riot will allow people to transfer stuff from their accounts I don’t see why anet wouldn’t

If there was a way to sign a petition for this, I’d love to see this!!! Is there a way we can get one and have it signable by players?
I hope it gets added back too. I’d probably end up buying for at least two of my characters.
I wish they’d bring back a lot of the temporarily featured items, gem-store or not.
They seem to think “pressure-buys” are the best way to make money, but GW2 isn’t Wal-Mart. If you fail to convince a shopper to spend their money in a retail environment, they’re out the door and you’ve lost the sale. But people return to GW2 regularly from the comfort of their own home. They don’t want to be pressured to buy stuff every time they log on. Maybe they don’t have the money for an item one day, or just don’t feel like getting it, but if it’s always available they may buy it some day, instead of buying it NEVER because it was only available for a short time.
For example… I’m gonna buy a flute one of these days, but I currently can’t justify spending the money on gems. I’m glad that it’s a permanent store item, because if it wasn’t, I’d never get my flute, and Arenanet wouldn’t get my ten bucks.
Just seems to make sense.
