Any fat overweight characters?
I actually want an old age option now that you meantion it.
Imagine having one of those skimpy outfits all the players put on their characters to make em look sexy.
Now imagine a 80 old woman all wrinkly and saggy and what not in the same outfit. Rofl I’d so do that.
Well Big Nose Ted was kind of fatter than most, apart from that I don’t recall any others. But then again I guess anet wouldn’t really make any grossly over-weight people to offend anyone.
Well there is Andrew. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/e/e3/Andrew.png
Several other NPCs as well that are like that.
Though I could never see it on a player. It jus wouldn’t make sense really. You’re constantly running around on foot and swinging big heavy weapons. If anything, our characters should be more muscular. With all the constant workouts they do, they wouldn’t have any fat on them.

I support this proposal because I can’t unsee it so it might as well be real.
Thanks for pointing out Andrew. Yet he is a good example of what I mean. Last night I was running outside divinities reach just exploring when I noticed a female human NPC asking me if I saw her grandchild or something like that. But this female NPC had a face and body that looked like she was 18 years old. I’m thinking how could this be a grandma?

Thats easy. The npc just have to spend some gold to get gems and buy the makeover kit from the BLTC.
I just want average looking options for humans…and Norn for that matter lol, everybody is way to pretty
People who run around as much as our heroes do, do not stay overweight very long.
If only it was as easy in reality. I should really drop some kilos.

Good point.
later. It doesn’t care that I’m there.”
I’ve tried to make my Norn Engineer as old & overweight as possible due to him having been a First Mate and Cook on a pirate ship and now a comfortable Merchant.
More options for body types and age would be great, imo.

I tried to create an older (human female) character once, but I deleted her instantly after I heard her too-young voice. It was horrible. If they choose to add older characters, you need to be able to change the voice as well.

Actually, I really wish we had the chance to change the voice in general. I am not going to go as far as to saying there should be more than one voice for every sex/race combination. But could not a filter be added to let us change the pitch somewhat? Even that would help to vary things.
It’s the things they say that bother me rather than the voice. Especially when you complete part of a daily achivement or something, I forget the exact words but it’s always something like “just more proof of my greatness” and it’s so arrogant and so completely at odd with my characters personalities that I hate hearing it.
Between that and having to hear the same phrases over and over and over again when using certain skills I’ve started turning voices off when I’m not expecting cut scenes. Which is a shame because I like hearing the random stuff the NPCs say and don’t always see the speech bubbles in time to read it all.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
New feature implemented:Using waypoints too often makes your character fat.
I wouldn’t say I found a ‘fat’ character, but I did find a gem of a character design some time ago. Huge male norn with pink long hair, and pink beserker (I think?) gear.
My favorite things about this character? Pink hair, pink armor, cute skirt <3 Takes a real man to wear pink!
EDIT Removed picture since it could have baited some very unruly conversation. >.>;

It may be the armor he wears, but I believe the human warrior (guardian?) trainer in Shaemoor is overweight.
Stop talking about NPCs here, it’s about players.
Also: I’d like that, ho ho.
Unicorn bow+ sylvari dance : GAY PRIDE!
My Norn Ranger is REALLY FAT.
He looks like the character in the .hack//rootz Anime named “Tawalaya”.
Guess what I named him? “Tawalaya Miyake”. THe Last name I got from the japanese voice actor who played Tawalaya from .hack//rootz.
But yeah, My Norn is really Fat and that’s why I made him that way! =)

Actually, the OP mentioned NPCs, that is one of the reasons I mentioned one. So, no, it’s not just about players.

There are 50 year old voice actors voicing kids. Not everyone gets an old voice when they turn old.
