Honestly,

FoTM and the current dungeons are running their course. There is barely any new content for them. I’m a majority WvW player, but got the dungeon master title and have ran fractal 49. It just confuses me why at this stage in the game there is so little talk about new content in terms of raid dungeons and bigger 10-man, 20-man etc.

The combat in GW2 is smooth compared to most other MMOs but unless meaningful content starts to come out (Living Story is a joke hated by the vast majority of semi-hardcore/hardcore players) then people are going to continue to leave to newer MMOs with new content. Wildstar/Archeage are going to steal this games playerbase dry if we don’t start getting new content.

PvP maps are empty, I face the same 40 people in solo q every day, and solo q is still plagued with the same problems. Skyhammer still sucks, I still see plenty of 4v5s that give losses unfairly, and these problems continue to go unadresssed.

I enjoy every part of the game, but the only thing being released these days is minute improvements to current features rather than new features altogether. So basically what I’m asking is, can we expect to see new non-Living Story PvE/WvW/PvP content or should I start looking for the next game?

PVE in gw2 doesn’t currently have any endgame, its a joke. I think this is mainly because Anet wants to focus more on open world/living story related content. WvW/sPvP certainly do have more endgame because well they are pvp but they arn’t on Anet’s top list either for some reason.

I wonder whether there is any person who could in all honesty say that they are not bored with GW2 and who played it since the game’s premiere and have over 10 k AP. I have 7 k AP, I played it since the game’s premiere and I’m bored as hell.
Yes, to foresee your smart aleck answers, I don’t play it on a regular basis nowadays, nevertheless I log in from time to time to meet up with the remainder of the once 212-person guild, which counts only 12 people nowadays.
I do hope they release expansion-worthy content in Season 2, preferably new explorable zones, races, more skills/weapons etc.
I love GW and GW2 and I want the best for the game, although the competition on the horizon looks strong.

I barely just hit 2k AP and I’m bored. Granted, there’s a lot I can’t really do because I don’t have a reliable group of people to play with, but I’ve done some dungeons, I’ve done some FotM, and without friends, they’re no fun.

I’ve pretty much done everything the average player could do solo, much of it several times, and now I’m relegated to the champ train until the Living Story comes out. And that will only be entertaining for so long…

Done all the living stories, dungeons, ermmm, basically, all the contents possible. Now, I am just trying to practice all the classes and master them, in term of pvp.

Yes, there isn’t any update that really blow your mind off, at least, to the old players.

People will say that WvW is the only reason to play gw2. Well, tbh, WvW is boring for me. It is nothing more than the usual zerg kill zerg, you stack here or there, you dodge left or right, you either smack them or be smacked. While people are panicking over incoming, I am playing PvZ2 on my hp. It is not hard to notice that the number of WvW players has been declining since launch as well, it just simply prove that WvW is boring as well when you play long enough.

PvP is fun, but that fun-ness don’t last. What keeps people going is that competitiveness but even competitiveness don’t last.

Anet don’t seem to care about old players, they just want to sell more copies and gem items, satisfy the newer players, since that’s the source of the revenue anyway.

Have over 10k AP, been playing since beta, have a legendary and still love playing this game. Oh, and I have played near daily since head start. I belong to possibly the biggest single server guild (woot AARM) so I’m not at a lack of like minded people to play with. Now I’m not saying this game’s end content is fine in fact, I would love better dungeons and rewards for what we have (looking at you fotm/teq/wurm).

I mean the thing is I’m in a great guild, [HOPE] on SoS, I am WvW rank 1500+ (Gold title), I’ve been ranked in the top 100 for tPvP solo queue, I really like all aspects of the game, but it’s just getting so stale. The April feature pack didn’t really add any new features either, which was disappointing, even though the QoL improvements added were nice.

Sounds like you need some friends :*( Or a single player game to play.

Playing since beta and having 2k AP is the craziest thing I’ve ever heard. Either you made a character at beta and quit for 1.5 years, or you play approximately 5min/day.
