I ask because the accounts that have posted in-game mail advertising gold selling sites and have spammed the map chat for which I have reported are all still active, makes me wonder if there is any point to reporting them in the first place.

I still do it, in the hope that the accounts are being banned/returned to the original owner. I must admit, I’m not checking later to see if they’re still doing it, and I block them first.

i block and report every single one i see in chat and receive mail from of course.
ive noticed a smaller number of incidents of late, which is a sign of hope.

I still report on occasion (if it’s a new name – a lot are names i have clearly reported before), i just wish they’d enhance the report.

A good thing to do would be as soon as you report the person they are auto blocked and every post they made is auto removed from your chat log, same with emails – if i report they should auto delete.
