Guild Wars 2

A lot of my friends had level 2 to 3 toons to lvl 80 and feel burned about the content that GW2 offer.

Is there any expansion or other thing that will give massive amount (aka, eq expansion or wow expansion model) of PVE content in the future? If yes, when?

They have said many times that their focus right now is improving the game. If and when they release expansions, they will certainly notify us…

They will most certainly release an expansion laden with PvE content, but no word on when has been released. The original Guild Wars game saw it’s first expansion released a year after the vanilla game was released, but there’s no reason to expect the same with GW2.

The people that ultimately own and fund anet have been rumoring about a 2013 Q3/Q4 expansion. Although Anet has denied the rumors.

Expansions in GW1 happened every 8-12 months. Although Anet has said expansions for GW2 will be less frequent as they want to focus on the free monthly living world content and getting the current game in tip top shape.

No release date but predicted for the end of this year.
