Look at how effective someone is in a full Dire set.
Nice balance.
Hi.
How can I disable my ingame web browser? The one that pops when you a /wiki search etc?
Im trying buy gems but paypal doesnt wanna load on that thing… I need to make paypal open in a chrome window instead of that buggy browser……
Thanks.
There’s a way to make `/wiki` open in the in-game browser? That command just opens a new Chrome tab for me.
Mine goes to firefox. Always have.

Same
Change default browser to “the one you need it to be”
Every time I do /wiki it opens it in the ingame browser lol. When I buy gems and click “go to paypal” it also opens in that browser… which is my problem..
But its w.e now. I just copy-paste it into chrome manually and got my gems…
Still tho.. Anet should look into that browser not wanting to open paypal.. kinda annoying… I spent like an hour trying to open it over and over lol…
When you use /wiki, it opens it up in your default browser. There is no in-game browser that opens when you use /wiki. The Buy Gems tab of the gem store is a different thing from that. Anytime I’ve used paypal to get gems, it just opens it up in my default browser.
If you’re somehow getting a browser that’s not your computer’s browser, then you might want to see about doing a -repair to your game because that’s not normal.
As far as I know there isn’t an in-game browser.
If you use /wiki it will open a tab in whichever browser is set to be your default (in my case either IE or Chrome, depending on what I was doing recently).
If you buy gems in-game you’re doing it through the Black Lion Trading Company interface, which technically is a web browser but it’s a custom one that works differently to regular browsers not one you can disable. I never use paypal but I assume if it needs to open a real web page it will also use your default browser.
So in other words if you want it to open in Chrome set Chrome to be your default.

Are you able to get a screenshot of this in-game browser?
If it’s actually something opening a web page within the game then that’s definitely a bug and should be reported because it’s not supposed to happen at all, even if it works.
This browser…
Ever since I found out about the /wiki thing it would open in that… lol.

Wow! How did you manage that???
You might consider a -repair of the client, as that isn’t supposed to happen.
Support (link above/below) – Search (Repair)
Or maybe, clear the GW2 cache.
Support – Search – Trading Post/Troubleshoot
Good luck.
Do you have Windows 10? That looks like the Edge browser, which is the default for the OS.
If you press the Windows key on your keyboard (assuming you are using Windows) it should bring up the start bar and show you which programs, including which browsers, are open.
Edit: Ignore this, it’s wrong.

I’m quite sure that’s the Overwolf browser. If that’s the case, close Overwolf.

You’re right, it is.
There might also be a way to disable it in the programs settings. (I don’t know as I’ve never used it.)
Oh yeah, I guess I was a little lazy with the problem solving, sorry.
When you open Overwolf (The default keybind is Ctrl+Tab) and go into the settings, you can find Browser settings right away in the general settings. Untick the “Use Overwolf Browser to open links” option and you’re good to go.
Edited the instructions, I wasn’t 100% sure if it worked since I didn’t get to test it before. By now I tested it, should work like this.

Vova, if closing Overwolf or turning off the “Use Overwolf browser to open links” option allows `/wiki` to open in your default browser and fixes your problem with PayPal, please let us know.
