My wife has a lvl 80 character that briefly started Living Story Season 2 when it was new but at the time she had only gotten as far as Forming the Pact on the Personal Story. We were wanting to return back to finish the Personal Story but can’t figure out how to activate it. Quitting the Living Story just starts the same Living Story episode over again automatically without allowing us to return to the Personal Story.

Any ideas how to get back to Personal Story? Is this a bug that should be reported? Or are we just SOL for logging into a character while LS was active? I’m not really sure what to do with this…any thoughts?

There should be an option by going to the story step she left off on in the journal.

H > Story Journal > select whichever one you want to do

They want to go back to the last PS stage they were on. They want to know how to get from the the LS to the PS.

Right, so that’s what we are missing. There is no “Continue This Story” button between the “My Story” tab and “I’m [charname]”. There also isn’t a star on “Forming the Pact” like the pictures above show on your chapters. I wonder if maybe she was on a mission that got moved around? Thanks for the help but so far we are still stuck!

But no matter how she got moved around, she should definitely have the ability to select PS on the left side (just left click on it), then Continue This Story (with a warning she could lose progress on the LS2 she’s one). If not, I suggest she file a bug report and perhaps also reply in the thread I linked as Bobby Stein is paying attention there to reported problems and feedback on the revamp.

I wouldn’t recommend playing the Personal Story at the moment. At least for me (and a few others that I have seen), some bugs have popped up at the beginning of Chapter 7 aka “Forging the Pact”.

While there has been no official word yet as to why this issue is exclusive to certain players, and to whom it specifically happens to, I suggest holding off on it for a little while as a precaution. One of my characters became seriously bugged the other day while doing the last two chapters of the Personal Story.
