It’s annoying trying to keep track of everyone’s alt names. I know you can mouseover the name but is there any way to just make the name display? If not, I think this would be a great change to just place the display name next to the character name.

Something like: BigCharr(Simon.2345)

This would be optional that could be turned on and off since it’s not always needed, but nice when it is.

I think seeing account name would be far more useful for in-game mail. Sometimes I’ll get a message from a guidie’s alt and there’s no way to even tell who it came from if you aren’t familiar with that character. (as far as I know anyway)

I won’t stop because I can’t stop.

It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….

[Suggestion]

  • Every player should have the option to set a personal nickname for themselves.
  • When that player sends mail or appears in a guild roster, that personal nickname appears instead of the account name.
  • For guild history, the nickname and account name would be displayed, e.g. “Big Charr (aka Simon.2345) removed 10g from the Deep Cave”.

Yes, this is also an issue.
