Anya's Strawberries
Its just a little easter egg type area.
If you stand outside of the entrance for a while you hear the kids talking about how they think its haunted because they keep hearing a mysterious voice, and wondering where Anya is (she’s part of their warband). Then when you actually find your way in it makes sense.
Stumbling upon the kids talking and finally finding my way into the hidden area is one of my most memorable GW2 experiences, actually.
Well it’s one of the easiest and quickest strawberry patches to reach (once you know the route) which makes it pretty useful if you want pink dyes or anything else that needs strawberries.
But other than that there’s nothing there, it’s just one of many cool little hidden areas in the game.
That was one of the first hidden areas I found, definitely the first where I knew I’d actually found something. (I found and completed the jumping puzzle in the cave in Farshore ward in LA during one of the betas but they didn’t have achievements at the time and I missed the chest so I thought my ‘secret passage’ was just a random extra bit of map with no purpose.)
