Answer honestly please! Would be interesting to hear how some of you are able to play while at work and if you have any stories of almost getting caught please share!

I’m currently contemplating downloading the client since I work in a cubicle and can easily see when someone’s approaching my desk. =)

I mess around on the forums at work. But thats the extent of my at-work gaming.

I play for about 15-30 minutes when I first get in to work. I’m at a game studio though so it is a really relaxed work environment :P

Six months from now you’ll be complaining about how some kid fresh out of school “stole” your job and your bosses were out to get you.

Don’t play games at work, it’s never worth it.

Forums, fine, but I’d never be able to get away with playing the thing at work, no matter how much I’d like to.

But…then it’s not considered work anymore, is it?

And people wonder why jobs are outsourced to third-world countries.

I wish! The forums are the extent of my GW2 interaction at work and usually only on slow days.

Naw. Forum warrior from time to time but logging in would be tough.

I agree its not a good idea and if you get caught you will most assuredly get fired.
You are being paid on company time and are supposed to be doing company related things.
I am lucky because where I work there is lots of downtime so I do play GW2 at work. But, even then, I still keep it a secret that I play games. I have a laptop under my desk and I use a KVM cable that allows two computers to be plugged into the same keyboard/mouse/monitor, if the phone rings or a customer walks in…or the boss lol, i quickly tap scroll lock twice and the monitor screen changes from my laptop to the work computer.
I work in a storage facility and sit in an office for 10 hours a day with no breaks because I work by myself with no relief. I am not allowed to leave the building. So its up to me to create my own breaks during the day when its not busy. And sometime those breaks last for a couple hours of playing GW2 or some other MMO lol.
But I can be interrupted at anytime by a phone call or customer, so I can only do solo things and cannot group. And I have more than once came back to GW2 to find my character still logged in naked, gear all broken because I had to go afk quickly lol.
