Just wondering, with the crazy 200% MF buff and the large amount of people farmed on the island, did more people get precursor over that period? TP data suggested no change. Or is precursor unaffected by MF?

I found The Legend while farming sharks with the buff, still didn’t find a weapon ticket.

I think the rng god/dess is teasing me.

Been here since BWE and can say Precursors are a myth. {:þ

A guildmate found The Hunter, buuuuuuuut….it was from an Instigator chest and not a mob drop. *shrugs

I got Zap from a crazed karka.

Guildie had dusk drop for him. Sold it and had another exotic GS drop (not a precursor) for him within a week.

Wife got three reef riders and ill naked Lord Fahren.

All I got was the lil naked blonde.

Sounds like an increase of precursor drop there but not much change from gw2spidy.

If people are keeping precusors and not selling them spidy wouldn’t change all that much.

I doubt all the people decide to keep the precursor tho……
Some people choose to keep precursors too before the event. The amount we see on TP are those who want to trade in. With the increase of droprate, we should see an increase in supply too.

I farmed a lot with 320 % MF .. all i found was a ton of southsun crate with no ticket inside , 4 Mini reef rider , some rares and exotic settler’s amulet and rings. My primary goal was getting Powerful Blood and Vicious fang for my second legendary anyway.

Someone on my server got the warhorn, Howl or Howler, forget which. But it was from one of the chests.

I saw someone get the Legend from the Instigator event (and they were already using a legendary, of course heh).

I got nuttin.
And after going back now I even had to recycle my first white.
And the Queen failed too.

Pure waste of time.

I heard that Vol got a precusor at Southsun, but I’m not sure where I heard it. Maybe it was a dream. coughs.

Actually now that I think of it, I did get a precusor at Southsun…but it was back in November during the karka event. lol

Im waiting for someone at Anet to tell us that all MF does is increase drop rate numbers from 0.0002% to 0.0005%

Why would they need to tell us that? We know that’s how it works.

Same, though I think mine was from a jellyfish. kitten near had a heart attack when I opened that box!

I got Storm, but it was from the daily chest you get from killing the karka queen, so the MF buff was unlikely to have had much to do with it.

Have all three gifts, and no precursor to make Bifrost. Still, was nice to at least see one drop, even if it wasn’t the one I needed.

I would kill for a tooth of frostfang… I have gold saving issues so all I have are my 3 gifts and no precurser….

I farmed the event for more time then I care to count and didn’t get anything besides a few settlers items and a wind rider.

Unless they fulfill the buy orders instead of listing one. When you’re dealing in hundreds of gold 50-60 gold less suddenly doesn’t seem to be that much when it saves you the headache of thinking whether someone will ever buy it or not.
