So went to southsun today to do some farming since everyone else is out doing fractals, and i find this:

Now I know I haven’t been to Southsun in a while but I think I would ahve remembered this being here. Anyone know what its about?

I was there earlier but did not see/notice that. Neat find.

Sounds like these are turning up in other zones. There’s a thread reporting one in Snowden and another in Fields of Ruin

Just got a weird mail from Rox in game about new arrivals. Anyone know which arrivals she is talking about?

I saw one of those in the Fields of Ruin.

Saw one in Diessa Plateau.
I did touch it.
It knocked me back and I got a pop-up saying: “Which part of DO NOT TOUCH was unclear?”

Is it possible they added a chapter without giving it a big write-up?

That’s a good question. I recently started a “personal bank” guild, of which I’m the only member, so I assumed it was automated nudge to recruit people. Hm.

As for the towers, I assume they’re related to the Inquest / Thaumanova Reactor, though I don’t have any guess how or why. No idea what they’re for or what they mean, but I’m always happy to see quiet additions like this sneaking in.

i came across the one in snowden but i hadnt been in that area for a while so i was unsure whether it was new or old

maybe part of the next ls chapter just like how kessex was changed before the tower went live. if it is its builds up the next chapter somewhat. to me thats an improvement to the ls but they still got a ways to go to get better

There is one in Gendarra as well, just west of the entrance port to Lion’s Arch.
