Anyway to check guild age?
If the messages from the start of the guild about inviting the first people or getting the first influence are still in place, then you can tell. But these will only be there for newish guilds or guilds with very little activity since old messages fall off the panel as new ones come on. Other than that, there is no way to tell.
ANet may give it to you.
Actually, it seems to keep the original couple of messages, even from two years+ ago. And remove messages between then, and now. At least, it does on some of the Guilds I belong to.
Good luck.
If the guild has a website you could look at their forums to see the oldest forum threads, perhaps? For instance my guild has posts going back to April 2012 when we formed up in the early days of guildwars2roleplayers.com, so we’re older than the game itself

Does it? I’ll have to look as that would be good to know.
Edit: I logged in and looked. My storage guilds and my original friends guild, which is almost dead, does go back two years. The guild that I joined about a year ago and that has a couple hundred members who log in frequently only goes back 6 months.

This is my guild, i just want to know when we officially started it. It only goes back to when guild missions were introduced….
You’ll need to check the messages and see how far back they go. Try the message of the day panel. That seems to last the longest.
However, it’s very general. My friends guild just says 2 years. It doesn’t give a date and I know it was made on the day of launch so that’s 2 years and 1/2 years ago.
