I’m trying to do a fresh install of the game with the 32-bit client, The 64-bit client causes random freezing ingame. For some reason the 32-bit installer only installs the 64-bit client, So I’m not getting the 32-bit exe file ‘Gw2.exe’ So I cannot use the -32 command.

The -32 command should work on the 64 bit client now since it is unified (both versions are together).

The -32 command does nothing on the 64-bit client ‘Gw2-64.exe’ I need the 32-bit client ‘Gw2.exe’ But the 32-bit installer doesn’t give me it, It only gives the 64-bit one.

Are you putting the -32 in the right spot?

The data files for both clients are the same, so it doesn’t matter which one you install. If you have Gw2-64.exe and not Gw2.exe, simply download the 32-bit Gw2Setup.exe, rename it to Gw2.exe, put it with Gw2-64.exe, then use Gw2.exe -32

OMG thanks for this tip. I’ll be saving a backup copy of it for any time I need to reinstall as I have exactly the same problem with the 64bit client randomly freezing up.
