If I apply a consumable “skin changing item” to a piece of equipment, and that consumable “skin changing item” is consumed.

Can I use the item I applied it to, to apply the same skin -from the skin changing item- to another item?

You mean using the high level blue transmutation stone? It is possible if it isn’t a backpiece. The reason is if you use the fine transmutation stone on a blue item, i.e. your skin to a blue item, it will become account bound. However, backpieces don’t have blue or white items at the moment so it’s impossible for backpieces for now.

If you transmute two items and choose that items look, then yes.
