Not sure whether 2016’s April Fools gag is planned yet.

If not…please please please consider replacing all weapon attack sound effects with bad foley.

Probably a bad idea because it will probably inflate the size of the update download, but one can dream.

Well, this would be an update I would actually mind.
It is just not my kind of humor.
Luckily i would only need to turn down the volume for it.

However, don`t you think it is a kitteneap for an april fools gag?

Ok, my only suggestion for the next April Fools is: No matter what you do, add a button or a way to turn it off, it will reduce A LOT the complains in the forums.

PS: I loved both the bobblehead and the aviator jokes, but both times the forum was flooded with complains.

I think they should take some that they did for GW1 and put them on GW2.

How about doing some thing similiar to GW1…i had so much fun with those! No sarcasm either

What about a april fool where EVERY weapon Skin turns into a legendary Skin? (for one day)

How about, every male pc turns in to Logan, and female pc are Jenna.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they should do nothing then watch all the players that complained about them doing something in the last few years flock to the forum and complain about them doing nothing.

they could create a variant of the minion apocalypse bug. basicly this caused a minion to spawn when a player died. before it was patched, someone getting Dhuumed in a pvp outpost caused it to spawn minions in the outpost where players couldnt attack (videos at bottom of link). They could apply it to towns and when a player dies, dragon minions show up in the town. The townspeople could also be slaughtered by the minions and thus increase the number. Fun and crazy at the same time.

Transform everyone in to a Commando for a day. Just a skin.

Completely optional, tons of fun. Who wouldn’t like to go back 250 years, or more, in Tyria’s history for an optional mission? Forum complainers? Great! They don’t have to do it! Bonus points to Anet if it’s a similar quest, but from GW2’s point of view.

Enable open world pvp. Imagine the tears.
