Guild Wars 2

I experienced the in-game annoyance of having my avatar run around with his arms extended, like an airplane. I hope to never experience that again. Just wondered what other folks thought of it, good or bad.

i would like the old style effect, seriously don’t care about the plane thing…..it’s so…plain…

a) there are around 100 threads about that topic.

b) it’s not really fitting in the HoT-forum.

c) it’s over, not much more to say. It was kinda funny and just for a day, so…

I didn’t play till the 2nd, opt out button in the cash shop next year when Anet force us to laugh at how funny they are.

They haven’t so far repeated the April fools pranks so it’s unlikely you ever have to do it again. What’s much more likely is that they’ll think of something else to make people get irritated about a one day prank and come make threads about it on the forum.

I like the April fools pranks, always catches me off guard (I always forget April 1st) and makes me smile and slap my head into my desk for 24hrs because I have to play with a finny kitten . I still enjoy the game though.

I liked it and thought it was amusing. The filter was what sold it to me.

The reaction, though, reminded me of when WoW release the pre-Lich King plague. People loved it or hated it. This is by no means comparable event wise, just reaction wise. At the time I though ‘this is why we can’t have nice things.’

Honestly? i enjoyed for a good 5-10 minutes, before i got bored and wanted to turn it off…but i couldnt. Unlike most though, i exited and went and did other things. I did come back later and enjoyed it again, for a good 5-10 minutes before exiting it again.

I don’t know what they were thinking…. they should have made an April fools with HoT stuff to increase hype.

Oh, I’m sure people would have found something to be upset about with that also.

As I said at the time, it would have been cute and quite fun, as long as there had been a toggle.

Without one, it was just an unfunny joke that never seemed to end.

I can’t wait till they sell the gemstore item that allows us to plane around again.

Found it nice original and funny…^^ i did enjoy the 1st of april in the game.

I thought it was funny. Especially the noise effects.
