New Monthly Achievements for April.

Yea I like this too. Last month seemed like no choices made it so they needed to make it easy. This month seems like they implemented what they really wanted, options.

Audio Logs? what are those?

you get those when you smash those periscope things in wayfarer foothills and diessa plateau..

I just delivered 10 of them yesterday, because I thought I wouldn’t need them for anything..

I like how they did change it so we could choose which monthlys we wished to do, but I do not see why any PvP or WvW is added into this, there is already a PvP/WvW monthly category for players that wish to play that style of play. Can’t we add more PvE things to this and remove all the PVP/WVW content from the regualr monthly?

The PvP daily and monthly achievements are for sPvP only. sPvP is very different to WvW, the latter having always counted for PvE, including events, variety, ambient kills, et cetera. WvW is also required to get all PvE map completion, and you use your PvE level and equipment. Also, it is only one option category in this April’s monthly.

WvW doesn’t count for the PVP monthly because that’s for sPvP. Anet doesn’t really count WvW as PvP. It’s a PVPVE hybrid type thing so it’s fine being in the normal monthly. It’s one choice. You don’t have to do it. Just like I don’t like dungeons/fractals so I’m not going to do those.

This month will be a breeze

Thanks to those nice folks at Anet for implementing this, I have noticed the last few months they do listen to there playing community and if they can make a change they do…obviously never going to please everybody…

I expected to see WvW and Jumping Puzzles in this months monthly because WvW had its biggest update since launch, so a really good time to do WvW (its easy, give it a go) and obviously with the Super Adventure Box, Jumping Puzzles is a no brainer too.

Personally, probably accidently do them all, except the Fractual Frequenter, by the end of the month…

Looking forward to this, now if I could just remember to do my dailys ><

They can be found in more areas than that. I have smashed a couple out in Iron Marches, and i think they are also found in Snowden Drifts. Would not surprise me if they also show up in Fireheart Rise, Dredgehaunt Cliffs and Frostgorge Sound.

A major issue, beyond their general annoying nature, is that you can only get one log from each of them each day…
