Why is it so incredibly hard to get a group for this dungeon?

1. You need to have completed your personal story. This is not a priority for most people, making fewer people to group with.

2. The gates need to be open. Half the time the event chain is bugged and you can’t even open the gates, the other half of the time the group refuses to help you clear the chain and leaves group because it’s taking too long.

3. It happens to have arguably the hardest boss in the game. Lupi likes to break spirits.

4. The rewards just suck. When compared to fractals, which are easier, more fun and faster.. no one wants to run this thing.

What am I suggesting?
Arah needs some love. Either overhaul the dungeon rewards, keep the chains and paths bug free, or tone done the prerequisites to get in.
Preferably all of the above.

Either that, or allow us to substitute the Gift of Zhaitan needed for bifrost with a different gift.

Currently I cannot complete my legendary because everyone refuses to run this dungeon. And when I do happen to get a group, it’s bugged. This is extremely frustrating.

sorry to be totally off topic but do you get gift of Zhaitan for story completion or completing Arah? story mode? paths? I guess it is not personal story huh?

Gift of Zhaitan can be bought with 500 Shards of Zhaitan.

You get 60 shards per path completion.

In that case yes I’m totally with you Arah is open on my server now (GH) but it doesn’t happen often

Arah being dead is one of the reasons I don’t even play anymore. If I can’t find a Fractals party, I try Arah then I log off.

I always wanted 2 items from there to complete my character “look”.

If they don’t give a kitten about people playing the last available dungeon in the vanilla game at least let us transfer or use our other tokens to buy stuff from other dungeons.

It always ticks me off going to way point Arah and no dungeon even there. When it IS there no groups to be made. No options to get the pieces I desire, no fun.

So i used the lfg website and found 4 other people that wanted to do arah. ALL of our servers had bugged events and therefore we could not even open the gates to enter the dungeon.

It’s gotten better since the wondrous gift bags, at least for me.

Unfortunately it’s counter-balanced once again by FotM, and as a result lack of players ever doing the Arah event chain to open the dungeon. The gate’s always closed and there are very few groups, if any, that want to do Arah… ever. I’ve sort of put off trying to complete my Arah armour set because nobody ever wants to run it! And I’m not really sure when FotM Fever will ever run dry.

It’s still mind-numbingly frustrating with Lupicus being present on EVERY ROUTE, and running with an inexperienced or just flat-out poor group.

You can offer help to those who need Arah story in exchange of help in Arah exp. At least, compare to other dungeon, there is more need for story mode. And as you say, many need group/man. Just remember the time you need Arah story, would you want to help the guys keeping yelling LFM arah exp next to you? what if he offer help to your story mode?

BTW, the same applies to other dungeons. You gonna help the other for story so that they can help you with expo.

Assuming that people have time for more than 1 run and aren’t the types who just disband after THEIR mission is done.
