Why dont the archives show up anymore on the forum main page?
Archived subforums are still accessable over google search but their link doesnt list any of the archived subforums:
Because they cleaned up a couple of months back.

I know about the clean up, i was just wondering, why the archives are not listen under /forum
and why the archived subforums are not listed under
/forum/archive

Having half the page filled with sections that you can’t write anything in looks bad.
This is what they announced they were doing, so I suppose the announcement is the reason:
On January 20, we will be removing the archived sub-forums listing from the front page of the forums. The archived forums are not being deleted but simply are being removed from the index page. You may browse these forums in read-only mode by navigating directly to the URL of your desired sub-forum.
