Are Blade Shards Still Available?

I have been working on the Ascended back piece for a couple weeks, and have done everything up until the last point..I need another 52 blade shards then i can throw the stuff into the mystic forge and finally have my first ascended back piece.

Is there any way I can get those 52 Blade Shards I need?

If you have the meta reward in your home instance it sometimes drops them. Otherwise the not so secret chest gives them, and I believe very rarely the aetherblades as well.

Also if you still have at least one shard you can make them in the mystic forge.

Center area of the Edge of the Mists. Find a group who’s killing the aetherblades there for the meta.
Twilight Arbor Aetherpath.
Aetherblade Retreat fractal.
Aetherblades in the jump puzzle in Gendarran Fields might also drop them.
