Just wondering if I should save them up and use them all at once with boosters, has there been any official posts on if they are a) only here for halloween and b) if they’ll be getting “nerfed”.

I got a PM from a thread I made about the issue from one of the staff, it isn’t considered an exploit for boosters and jugs to be used together. However, it is possible in the future that they may decide to change it.

Also, the jugs are a result of buffing up the reward from daily and monthly as incentive to do them.

Would you be able to quote the PM you got, just for clarification?

I have to admit, they do seem extra generous. And whereas at first you think maybe it’s ArenaNet’s attempt to improve its standing with disgruntled players, the rapid nerfing of the Labrynth yesterday makes me suspicious.

Karma has been made easier to get in other ways, too.
You now get Karma from doing dungeons.

I’d say they are here to stay.
The jugs (teehee!) are also Account Bound so that you can finish your daily/monthly with any character and transfer the Liquid Karma to an another character.

My guess is that they want people without lots of Gold to have an easier time getting stuff.

I agree. I say thank you ANET for giving us options for getting karma other than farming ring events. I wouldn’t mind if they lowered the reward a bit but the jug idea and karma for dungeons is awesome and i hope it stays.

It’s not a Halloween event only change.

ACHIEVEMENTS
In response to several letters from the Tyrian Explorers Society, we have made the following changes to recognized achievements:

• Added karma rewards to daily and monthly achievements.

I think it’s very cool that they made it an account bound reward instead of just giving the karma to whichever character you’re on when you complete the daily.
