Oh. Its talking about little areas in the open world you can fight through.

Like in the Charr starting area. You can go into a crypt, fight a couple mobs and veterans, and then loot a chest at the end.

They can be soloed or 2 manned easy and last 5-10 minutes. And they are open world.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of these, they make exploration a little more fun.. although it might be nice to see more traps in them too, make them a little more complex.. like a combination of jumping puzzle, traps and mob killing.. hmm.. looks like i want more jumping puzzles.

Slow down and smell the pixels.

I thought mini dungeons were the non-instanced dungeons like the underwater one with the puzzles in charr area. Not little ones with just one vet and one chest, those are more like encounters than a mini dungeon.

No. Not like the duo missions.

They are essentially open world dungeons. They are easier than the SM/EM dungeons though. I personally am glad to see them add more. I want some really touch open world dungeons filled with veterans roaming around and nice chest loots.

Odessa PLateau: Mini dungeon in there.

When your people take over that northeast flame camp, it opens a path to a mini dungeon with 4 to 5 puzzles to solve and a final boss at the end with a crappy chest.

Fun regardless.

Hardmode for a duo, people would just bring a full group or even more, since it’s all open-world. I think that’s why they’re more puzzley, so the challenge is there regardless of scaling.

There are already mini dungeons in the game. They are hidden open world dungeons. Meaning non instanced.

They are there. Probably just another one or two of these.

If you want to see one of them. Go to the northern middle part of Gendarran.

I meant instanced stuff.

Short but really challenging duo stuff.

Yeah like others have said, they refer to the existing little dungeons (open world) in the game. I really love these things, but I agree, I’d love to see more extended and difficult ones start to appear.

Yeah I think this is a great idea. I am in a small guild of friends and we aren’t always online but usually there are at least a couple of people there. This would be great and HM versions at some point could be cool too.

It’s a game forum. The truth is not to be found here.

Actually torbjorn, you just hit on something.
With the jumping puzzles in WvWvW, particularly Eternal Battlegrounds, we already have designs for getting one over on other players, so how about GW2 takes a leaf out of Portal 2’s book and makes cooperative jumping puzzles? Ones where you need another player or two in order to progress?
Personally, I really enjoy the jumping puzzles, and would love the opportunity to further torture fellow guildies by dragging them along to cooperate in one

That portal 2 idea was great. would love to see some sort of co-op jumping puzzle where one have to pull chain or step on a leaver to let the other one continue
