Are bots able to invite you into their party. I was in southsun cove and a bot (which i reported about a week ago and is still running) invited me to its party. I know it was a bot cause it would run the same route every time over and over. While i am on the topic of bots let me ask something. How long from when you report a bot will its account get banned? Bots i have reported weeks ago are still at it. Do they do a big ban like once a month or something? Its really frustrating in southsun cove cause it is crawling with bots everywhere and i mean everywhere. Any info on these two topics would be great. thanks.

You have no idea if it was a bot. it could have been someone farming especially if they invited you to a group. Bots usually are just that Bots a program automatically controlling them for the person who is botting. Bots come from the word robot. example not an actual person playing. Framer is an actual person playing.

Thanks for trying to explain to me what a bot is. The thing is i already know what a bot is and yes i am sure it was a bot. I watched it for about 5 min and it would run the exact same route over and over. I mean exact. I tried to talk to it and no response. it had another bot in its party as well. they would run together with their pets like a train. Yes it was a bot. No human is that precise in running in a single file line constantly. Thanks for trying though.

Yes a bot is able to invite people to a party. Bots are already programmed to control a character, its not so unreasonable to assume they could be programmed to right click human allies or type in names of other bots running from the same operator.

Loot grouping isn’t an anti botting measure, rather its just another easy step bots can take to get better loot.

Very easy to tell if they are a bot or not. So you are wrong in your statement. I am guessing you have not actually seen them in GW2? The game is crawling with them. I have never played an MMO where there were so many and so Blatant.

Most of the bots i see in Southsun teleport all over the place (mostly in the water), so those are fairly easy to spot as “bots” and yes ive had a few invite me to party also; they spam it

lol yes i remember in orr a month or so ago I got invited to a DE party. The other 4 people in the party had names like asfsdafsdfad, dgdgdhkdgh, jkjhkjhjklk. I was like “omg bots are self-aware!!” it was silly and chilling at the same time
