are they aware that we want the preview option in the trading post?

Yes I should think they are. This has been mentioned many many times here on the forums and in the suggestion forum. Just be patient. Chances are that it will be added at some point.

I’m not sure if you are serious or not, but I’ll bite. I’m sure that ANet is aware of a lot of things that various people want, but you can’t really wave a programming wand and make it magically appear in the game. There are many things which aren’t feasible due to server load and the sheer size of the playerbase, and as far as things go I’m assuming that a preview option, while nice, isn’t the highest on their list of priorities. But, if you really want to make yourself heard, I’d suggest posting this in the suggestion forums.

they are farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr too busy working on halloween content right now to worry about small things that can wait indefinitely, if you want to preview just use gw2db and paste the link in chat even if they do have time, they’ll be working on bugs, glitches, bot banning and other high priority stuff :]

Just a tip – if you REALLY want to see what most items look like simply go to the pvp lobby and open up the locker box. Tada! Most weapon/armour skins are there for you to PREVIEW. That’s right pretty much every set and weapon that is in the game.

Why would you want to open up the trading post and view just one item at a time anyway? Here you can go and preview whole sets all at once.

Dam, Anet alredy has included this feature into the game but just kept it secret from us. :P

This site is pretty good… nice large 3D previews for weapons at least.

Previewing items in the AH, inspecting others and dueling should have been mandatory with the release, but one can hope at least some of these things are added soon…
