Hello people of Tyria,

(( this post should actually go to “Suggestions” but its impossible to write there so i make it here ))

GW2 became my favorite game..but i start having a problem. I finished the story and i have 100% of the map..and now there are just few small things which makes me want go back to discover Tyria (except the living world )…even its the thing i love the most about this game bcs even after 18 months i discover something new there.
I dont want to make just a new character to be able to discover it again..since i really like my character and i feel i didnt learned all about fighting with it and with others. Also i dont like farming all dungeons and fractals 100 times to be able to make something “usefull” with my main character. So i was thinking of something which makes people want go back to the different maps of Tyria and discover something new about it and also help people which discover it the first time. While i was thinking about it..i was also thinking of the orders of Tyria. Im a member of one of them..but i dont feel it at all. (Actually since the story finished i dont feel im a part of Tyria anymore…just the living world makes me feel it sometimes again.)

So now about my suggestion^^

It would be nice if there would be some special quests in the orders and you need to travel around Tyria (while this you discover things, make events, help people…just enjoy the game ). These quests should be different from each order. The Order of Whispers could make some spy quests, or sneeking or anthing else which is typical for it. While the Durmand Priory need to discover some old ruins or make some experiments.
In addition, the more quests you make for this order the more difficult quests you get where more monster appear and you need help from others. Also it would be nice if for some quests you need the help of other player which joined another order or which are in the same order but have a higher or lower rank.

These diffiult quests would be another way to get money other than dungeons and you are not forced to farm 100 dungeons over and over again to get some good money but you get the money while really enjoying the game(meeting new people, making other events on the way, seeing something new of Tyria you never saw before,…).

Also i think it helps player to feel that they r a part of Tyria and not just a replaceable hero after the story finished.

YES!! Order missions would be awesome! Initially, I was thinking that joining an order actually meant something OUTSIDE of the Personal Story, but sadly that is not the case. Yes, Order missions would be awesome! Activate them by speaking with the Order heads, much like in personal story, and getting Order specific rewards, like dungeon tokens, used for order gear, buffs, skinds, etc.

Edit: just had this thought. What about linking the Order dynamic events already in place to Order specific events for an special Order chest at the end? For example. In Orr, there are Vigil outposts that need to be defended. These events already happen on a regular schedule, but aside from a bit of karma and EXP, theres really no incentive to do them. Instead, after speaking to your Order rep, you are directed to go help defend the outpost, and upon successful completion you are granted an Order chest, similiar to the daily bonus chest you get from world bosses.

This will help encourage exploration and revisiting maps you’ve already completed, as well as helping your order, without requiring a major update on top of the April 15th patch. (Which I’m super excited about)

It’s the chain I beat you with until you

It’s been suggested a ton of times and is a good idea. Only time will tell if it is something long term beign worked on.

I wish I had picked order of the vigil on my guardian for roleplay reasons, but I am stuck with whispers.

I would reroll but I spent a lot of money getting crafting to 500 :/ At least I can transfer my ascended gear if I do decide to go for it though.

Maybe just aimlessly wander and see what trouble you get into. Sometimes life can be better without a plan. Even e-life.

Fire up the Hyperbowl ma, we’re going to town!

Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?

I love this idea. The only difference in the orders that I noticed (other than story) is some NPC dialogue and that locked house if you’re Whispers. That house was enough to make me love the Order of Whispers, but it’s such a small thing and nothing really comes of it. If there were more things like that, along with quests or achievements or something to make you want to go look for them/do whatever, I’d fall in love with this game all over again.

Actually, I think the achievements thing could work. The game doesn’t really do quests, and they probably won’t expand on story or add anything like hearts for Orders, but if a new line of achievements unlocked when you choose your order, that’d be amazing. I’d have at least one character in each order just to see what all of that includes for each.
