Are you addicted?
No,
but I am addicted to reading ironic forum posts.
Nope.
While the game is fun to some degree, there’s nothing that makes you addicted in it.
I have not been addicted to anything in………..about 10 years.
And I’m happy about that.
I wouldn’t call it an addiction per se, but I do play it for 5+ hours after work and about 8 hours on my day off. I got too many friends in the world of Tyria ._. And charrs.. gotta love those big, muscular, furry beasts <3

You can’t spell Fur Affinity without FA! :3
The point of this thread. What is it?
I think I am.. But then again, I’ve been to rehab for other addictions so I don’t think it’s surprising, even though I criticize GW2 most of the time here on the forums.

Yes I’m addicted.
Haven’t been this addicted to a game since WoW in burning crusade.
Love it!
I’m addicted to reading the forums, reading about the classes, planning what I want to play the next time i log on.
But then I log on and I just want to log off again…
extremely…. kittens!
Sadly, I am less addicted to GW2 than almost any other MMO that I have ever played. I would come back full time, -and probably spend some money in gemstore- if they would release an expansion though.
Yeah, I kinda wanted to quit but then I find myself coming back to the dailes and living story meta achievements.
I’m addicted to wasting time, GW2 is optional.
Thanks for the necro of an 8 month old thread.

No. I’m taking a break for a few weeks. Will prob come back December 10th.
In comparison to other MMO’s that I have stood by, not at all. For me I need to have a sense of bond to the game, a difference I make. A community brought together by accomplishments within the game, not the game itself.
GW2 does not accomplish that, running solo or big guild. Dps, dodge, Fkey, zerg won’t hold me like others have.

Not hardly. I struggle to find things to do when I do log in. You can only repeat content so many times before the fun is gone. And the Living World content is often doable in 1 or 2 days. It is time for an expansion.
