I have been playing Guild Wars since the release of the first game. Today I tried logging on to my account for the first time in ages. (I’m in the army and was deployed, so I have been unable to play.) My password wouldn’t work and I had misplaced the serial # for my account, so I couldn’t reset my password. I submitted a ticket to the support team with all the information I could about my account (name, address, character names, etc.) and within 8 hours received an email back. They sent me a password reset link that did not require my serial number! I just want to say that the caliber of their customer service/support team is amazing. It is part of the reason I have always bought their games and will continue to support them in their future products.

Similar thing happened with me. Yes, rapid response and sorted my issue flawlessly.

Good to hear that you got this mess sorted out. I assume it had to do with the “forced” PW change we all had to deal with last year. Also good to see you posting that you had good customer support, often we only hear ppl on these forums with their negative customer support issues.

Since when did this business of being a hero become being a business?
