if i were their supervisor, i would fire them all. No hard feelings is just my way of thinking, in work you should be serious and actually work the whole time…ofc getting good money and having a good working environment is a must…but no serious company would do this kind of stuff in my eyes.

I’m guessing you don’t actually work as any sort of manager or supervisor…and if you do, you’re the one that all of the employees hate.
It’s possible to be productive and having fun. Being able to take a break and have fun, as well as being comfortable enough with your coworkers to be absolutely silly like that, increases morale and helps people be more productive.

Anyway, I think the whole Harlem Shake thing is pretty stupid (I don’t get the appeal of it), but I love that they were like “hey let’s do this”, and then proceeded to put it together. Companies where people are actual people and not just a robot or warm body are few and far between, as well as completely awesome.

Morale is important, otherwise they might start taking the abuse in these forums too seriously, and start taking it out on players. Seen it happen in other mmos. A game with angry devs is not a fun game.
My one complaint is there is not near enough food or beverages on the tables. We now know what is wrong. Arenanet is starving these poor people!

Some of you that are getting mad about this video SERIOUSLY need to got out more, they’re just having fun and I’m actually glad they do this kind of stuff.

Completely agree, by fixing many issues with the Ranger and other professions which some have been present from the beta will be great for player/team morale and fun in game.

He did get the job, and has worked there for 15 years now, and they still talk about the cake.

i mean some people are salty because they just dont like the in thing, or its not their cup of tea, which is fine. But saying they are wasting dev resources, time, and should be serious at work, are ridiculous complaints on many levels.
