Whatever you did Arenanet for once be honest and say somthing like their was a flaw in the coding or we made a mistake….

I recently got 9 and more rares again in cursed shore for the last week…Ive been there from the beginning and I know something was wrong, now it almost seems to be liek before november… you obviously did something again….

please explain why the loot is better for the last month????

The only response you’ll get is: “It’s all RNG. We changed nothing.”

I find it hard to believe they aren’t constantly modifying loot tables in all these “maintenance” updates (which have no patch notes).

In fact, it may even be possible for them to modify loot tables on the fly (without releasing any updates), if their developers programmed the game properly.

There was a patch with the quote-unquote “maintenance”, otherwise the achievement system would not be broken, and there would have been no files to download when the servers came back up. I wonder why they insist on lying to us?

We heard . . . we listened . . . we ignored.

Their response to any comments on “maintenance/no-change” stuff:
“Any time we do a new build, you have to download a new client.”

This, obviously, makes sense… But any reasonable person would wonder:
“Why do you need a new build, if you’re not going to change SOMETHING?”

I’m sure some the real reason for no patch notes is that it’s all behind-the-scenes stuff. But it occasionally affects us, as the most recent “maintenance” patch modified achievements. (as jwburks pointed out)

It’s a conspiracy, man.

I just wanted a AAA MMO with no sub made by ArenaNet. And it’s awesome.”

Or start a report thread about what we “perceive” as a loot change.

In all honesty, from someone that has been farming events in Orr for two months, same times usually, I can definitely tell there has been a change. It’s just that sour smack in the face when we get told that it’s all in our heads that gets me.

It sounds like maybe a step in the right direction, improving loot, though I still refuse to play until they remove diminishing returns. I have a feeling I will never play the game again, ANet is still to busy patting themselves on the back, but maybe with the release of a few MMO’s they will take notice and actually at least “act” like they care for the community again.

It did feel like an increase in the frequency that things dropped loot- not more rares, but a few more junk items and sometimes I can gather more than once off a node as well (max I had was 5 on a herb) . Either that or my character just got blessed.

Well I’m not so much feeling the increased loot drops. Look what I’ve got . . . a spike. Oh, another spike. Yep. Another spike. Oh, it’s porous bones this time. Look, another spike. :-/
