Armor Dye
Are you sure? because it seems armor based for me. I’ve included 2 pictures, they are simply swapping armor not touching the dyes at all.
You’re definitely doing something wrong, I have two armor sets for all eight of my characters and I have absolutely no problems applying different color schemes to their armors.
I just tested and they’re right. I switched to a spare armor set, dyed it very different colours to my normal one (one set purple, one set green) and then when I switched between the two the colours switched automatically.
However I’m certain it didn’t always work this way and I have no idea when it was changed. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t mention it in patch notes because for some people this is a very useful option.

It’s been like that since the April 15th patch, the only exception would be Outfits, which lose their dyes whenever you unequip/swap them.
Hmm that’s odd it doesn’t do that for me. I’ll try and removed all the dye from one armor set and see if that makes a difference. It might just need to update the cache or something as any new armor it uses the same colours as the previous armor.
That’s odd, it works perfectly fine for me. My 2 main characters have about 4 bank tabs of armour sets combined (and mostly the same stat combos too, haha yes I’m vain), and the dyes have been saved to the armour since when I started playing, at launch.
Yep, they’re bound to the armour. I’ve got 3 sets on my warrior and they’ve all got the colours I set on them
I have an all gold armor set for PvP and my normal green/blue for PvE. I swap between them all the time without having to reset colors.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
It’s working now, I did a client repair and it seems to have fixed it. Thanks
