Enough with the gaping cleavage in female armor sets already!! Sometimes you make something really beautiful, and then you cut a giant freaking hole in the chest and turn it all nasty. There needs to be more armor choices that don’t turn your character into a walking proposition. It’s getting freaking ridiculous.

What armor are you talking about? Heavy? Medium? Light? Also, did you bother looking hard enough?

Oh gosh….. yet another one of these.

You know, there are a lot of options out there for armor. From super skimpy (not skimpy enough for some though) to ‘nun chaste.’ Pick your poison.

We could further point you in the right direction if we knew what set you were referring to, or at the very least what weight class.

I don’t see what the freaking uproar is (except with female charr and asura, maybe). This is rather tastefully done outfit. Yes, it shows cleavage, gods forbid a set has any sexuality.

I can’t see it with Asura as it is more conservative than most outfits on 5 year Olds these days.

Maybe there should be a “Virgin Eyes” option in the game, that goes all “nun-chaste” for every female outfits.

Or makes them extra-skimpy. It’d depend on player gender.

Well the gripe, as I’ve heard it, is simply that female asura (as with charr) don’t have breasts, so the ‘gaping hole’ makes no sense in the female armor. I can sort of see how, on some characters it might look a little strange.

I’m in agreement with you though, this outfit a helluva lot more conservative than what we see people dressing their children in these days. Went grocery shopping this weekend, and the way one of the women in the store had her daughter dressed up (including make-up) I was almost positive she was selling her, if you know what I mean. It was absolutely awful to see. Made me physically ill, it was so bad. Ugh, makes my stomach turn just to recall it.

Back on topic though, your asura looks adorable in that outfit.

It’s an outfit, if he doesnt like it, he can be quiet and not buy it. Sheesh, how hard is that? I mean, seriously, my most played character is a heavy class and her unskinned armor is a god kitten ed full set of plate armor. If I want to remind myself she’s female, I will do so by showing off her breasts. Dont like it? turn off oyur character quality limits and have generic models around you.

My fingers are still crossed for the day when my ladies can wear the male Arah heavy armor.

Unfortunately the number of sets which are sexually appealing rather than practical is rather high. It’s possible to get practical outfits, but it’s disappointing for some of us that aesthetically pleasing, practical armours are in short supply.

For the record, I’m a guy who just finds the skimpier armour to be annoying.

I’d rather have the male heavy phalanx armor. god the female one of phalanx is ugly…
