Armor to go with Chronomancer's Epaulets.
It is very difficult to give recommendations without more information – looks vary on race and gender after all. Many looks that work on females, for instance, don’t work on males etc.
My Chronomancer Milla, with chronomancer’s epaulets and Incarnate Armor (from the gemstore, currently unavaiable, maybe it will return). Took it as a suggestion.
I use, Cat Ears, Chrono shoulders, Carapace gloves, chest and boots, and t3 legs.
I use to use Carapace gloves and Illustrious too.
As said above, it depends if your character is male or female to what looks right.

Nice picture.
Can’t really see the shoulders and how it fits together with that armor though.
ANet may give it to you.

Thank you to everyone that replied so far. I apologize for not being more specific on the details of my friend’s character. He is a sylvari male. Does that help narrow things down at all? Maybe I can talk to my friend about getting me a picture so I can post it here next time I see him.
I’ve got an epic set of rare, removed and grindfest armor pieces which look epic with the chronomancer’s epaulets. For now though, I think the glory of actually looking unique in a game where every armor has the same shape and mesh outweighs the glory of gloating about it in a verifiable form ^^
Ascended light armour fits it really well, imo.
I’ve got the Priory top and bottom with masquerade boots and bladed gloves with my epaulets, was going for a more “armoured” look to go with my (at the time Soldiers, now Wanderer’s) stats as well as show off Order pride. Once I get around to finally crafting my ascended gear I might keep some of the Illustrious stuff, haven’t decided yet. This stuff doesn’t look drastically different between genders, either, but I popped into the Cosmetician to check out what it’d look like on a male for ya!
