Can we infused new Ascended Amulets to get more AR in FotM?

I don’t have a link but I’m pretty sure I remember reading somewhere that they said we could. In any case it’s not something anyone has to worry about for a few more days.

You cant. I have my triforge amulet upgraded to ascended and i cant upgrade it to infused, you only can get a extra 5 ar.

I was told by a developer that we would be able to infuse ascended amulets to gain extra agony resist.

Infuse not upgrade, it will not say amulet (infused) version you can only put a infusion not upgrade it, so you can get only 5 ar extra.

That’s what I mean

Patche note that that doesn’t include any information about new features etc.

gw2db.com shows that there are infused versions of the amulets. Whether or not the laurel ones can be upgraded via the MF remains to be seen.

And it’s interesting to note that the Triforge Pendant is listed on there as “Encrypted”, and there is no infused version.

Robert posted about a week ago that you WOULD be able to upgrade the amulets to have an inherent +5AR, but when asked as to what the recipe for upgrades would be, he responded “You’ll have to wait and see.”

I’m sure the Triforge will be able to be upgrades to +5AR along with the other amulets, we’ll just have to wait ~2 weeks for the first amulets to be gotten before we figure out the recipe. I recommend keeping an eye on reddit

We’ll see in roughly 8-10 days for those committed to getting their dailies and monthlies done just for an ascended amulet. In the mean time, my guess is one of the following:

Ascended Amulet + Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence + 3 Globs of Coagulated Mists + 5 Vials of Condensed Mists Essence = Ascended Amulet(Infused)

or:

Ascended Amulet + Some form of Mists Essence + Gift of Ascension + 250 Globs of Ectoplasm = Ascended Amulet(Infused)

Are you able to infuse Ascended Amulets now? or are you still unable to infuse them?

There is no recipe yet but one will likely be added in a future patch. They are limiting player progression in fractals by controlling max AR achievable.

Please get this into the March patch, ANet!
