With as rare as Ascended armor chest drops are (in my experience at least) it would be nice if we could choose the stats as well as the specific piece when opening them.

I too wish I could select the stats on ascended armor chest drops. Every time I get a Defender’s ascended armor chest, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry…

I agree. Ascended chests are too rare for the current state of things to make any sense

It has been suggested countless times already. No results so far, unfortunately.
