As I was digging around in my bank today I saw my veldrunner armor chest which at the moment is only taking up space in bank as it does not have stats I would use. So this idea came to mind: what if we had a vender that allowed us to trade ascended armor chest drops in for armor we want since it is a little hit or miss on whether we get a drop we want? Maybe trade 20k bloodstone dust+armor chest+20 (or whatever amount) gold for the exchange?

Honestly if we could sell or forge this gear I wouldn’t see any problem with drops being random, but since crafting them takes tons of time and money and you have a chance of getting meaningless drops I really feel we should be allowed to make use of the ones we can’t use. That or let players pick from a list what stat armor they want. Anyone else wanna see this?

In any case, I would very much support some manner of getting more than petty change for unneeded ascended gear, and I should hope the developers are / have been considering this for a while. I don’t think I’ve yet seen anyone opposed to the idea.

I would rather not have the raw materials (bloodstone dust) used for it though, since I (and I’m sure many others) have been refining all of those as they come in. Still, I think a solution to unwanted ascended gear really should be looked at, even if it’s just salvaging.

Granted, it’s not all that bad; however, I would very much like to free up the spots in my bank currently occupied by 2 Occam’s weapon chests.
