Ascended gear isn’t ascended. Any tier gear that doesn’t have knights stats less strong. If you combine Berserkers and Calvary you will have less toughness and precision than knights. Therefore I won’t be playing your game.

He is saying the stat layouts are worse so its not an upgrade, so its not an incentive for guardians for example.

There should be some story-driven mechanic of acsension instead of plain higher tier gear aquiring thru tokens and chests.

It’s been confirmed they will release ascended with clerics, knights whatever gear that’s not in the game already. Not sure if that’s what OP is complaining about though.

It has NOT been confirmed. All that has been said was that there will be some additional stat combinations added to ascended tier. We don’t know when, or which ones (so, for all we know we might get a new magic find stat combo… a year from now).
