Finally! I knew there was a reason I had been saving up all those badges. I have almost 5000 to spend on the new ascended items when they go live

New laurel and badge merchants, it’s badges, not a new currency.

There won’t be a new currency, laurels and badges only, as per the name of the merchant. However, I believe you won’t be able to get ascended gear just with badges, but you will also need laurels too, also, they are adding new WvW-only achievements so players will be able to get 1 laurel per day (and 10 each month) only by playing WvW. Great news overall for WvW

Um….no lol. They’re adding new dailies to the list in WvW, they’re not adding another daily that will give another laurel. It’s just that people will be able to complete their daily solely in WvW. Also, it’s unlikely they’ll cost badges AND laurels, makes no sense.

None of what you said has been posted anywhere, and is pure opinion.

I recall them saying that they were planning a new currency for ascended items in WvW. I’m glad they didn’t go with that however; we have too many currencies already!

Nowhere did the poster imply that it would be a new kind of daily.
