Ascended Legends- sigil vs infusion
Most likely both.
I’m guessing that without sigil slots they’ll simply be redundant. Unless they offer massive stat boosts (which would be ridiculous), the benefits of sigils greatly outweigh a small stat bonus.
If I would have to guess, the Legendaries would probably have the effects of the sigil that was used to build that weapon. For example, Superior Sigil of Battle is used to craft The Flame Seeker Prophecies … meaning the Ascended version of that shield would already have the respective sigil attached to it. That would probably make some kind of sense.

one thing legendary/ascended weapons should have is exchangeable sigils. I want to change sigils without salvaging or destroying the previous sigil.
