I am unsure where to put this topic, and I admit I’m a noob when it comes to the forums.

My question though is, how come we can only wear one type of ascended ring, and is this a bug or intentional?

For those that might be confused, what I mean is, I just received my second Yakkington’s Ring from daily bonus chest, however, when i went to try and put it on it would give me the red square option meaning i can’t put it there and it’s not currently soulbound to any of my other characters. What I don’t understand if this IS intentional why are we limited to the rings we’re allowed to wear? Many of these rings are specific to certain builds, one of my builds is obviously Magic Find, and being a believer in Magic Find gear i thought yes now i can have another +10% yet it won’t let me wear it.

Does it say “unique” on it?

That means it’s unique-equipped.

Same thing for the Ancient Karka accessory. It’s unique. So don’t go buying a second with your 1000 karka shells. You will be disappointed.

I really don’t like the unique status.

I agree, imo it defeats the purpose of having “good” gear especially seeing how the new ascended rings are the best atm

Wait. You can’t wear the same ring in both slots?
Sounds like another barrier to make sure people don’t gear up too fast. Gotta economize your treadmilling resources.

You can’t because I learned and checked that they are unique, which imo doesn’t make sense, because first of all the rings are untradeable, at least currently, plus you can only get one chance per day from bonus chest and that’s if you’re lucky, unless you manage to have multiple characters past D10. I don’t know the math or what the percentage is of getting a ring, but from all the rings I’ve seen there’s at least 20+ and to get even the same ring is pretty rare if you ask me. So to make them not only account bound but unique, makes many rings useless to yourself especially if you can’t/don’t need them.
