Heard someone say in game that ascended armor stats that were changed in the Mystic Forge will be reset to its original stats when the Path of Fire expansion is released.

Is this true?

It would be very upsetting to know time and gold was drained for nothing.

There’s no reason to worry over something like this.

Zero chance they would do something like this without informing us beforehand, and refunds would be guaranteed. Also, I don’t see why they would do this anyway in the first place.

Given how the MF works by changing item IDs, it doesn’t have the data to revert items like that. Whoever said that was making kitten up.

The mystic forge straight up gives you a new item, it’s not a ‘transformed X to Y’

It’s ‘Your X is now gone, here’s a Y’
