Is the only way to get Ascended Viper’s Trinkets from Raids, and Bloodstone Fen?

Bloodstone Fen is fun, it just takes a while for me to get the right amount of blood rubies.
I never have time to do raids, and the few times that I have had time to do raids, I was kicked out of the group because I wasn’t experienced.

And HoT Story Act 4 has an amulet you can get which “I think” you can choose viper stats from.

There are no other ways unless more options are added as LS3 progresses

Well there is also the other issue. You can only get one Mordrem Loop.

Don’t forget that ascended rings are unique. I grabbed 2 viper stat rings from bloodstone fen. I forgot about it myself so i had to infuse 1. Side thought; why is this stuff still unique? Since the infusion slot changed so it can be anything.

I’m hoping ANet removes the ‘unique’ qualifier in a future update. It creates unnecessary confusion (and, if ANet is only looking at the bottom line, extra work for their support teams).

Once you unlock the Mordrem Loop, who’s to say it wont be available at the Laurel vendor for Laurel’s. That’s the way all the other trinkets work in game. I don’t see why the Loop would’nt be there. If someone with the loop could confirm that its in the Laurel vendor list?

Keep in mind that the WvW and sPvP reward tracks for bloodstone fen give 50 rubies on completion.

That is NOT the way all other trinkets work. For example the other amulets from the HoT story do not become available either.

It’s not in the laurel vendor list. You can only get it once, as a reward for completion of ‘Hearts and Minds’.

You can wvw or spvp reward track bloodstone fen trinkets. Just in case you wernt aware. Got my mesmer wanderer backpack, amulet and 2 rings (1 attuned).

I am now sitting at 101 rubies(had atleast 260 bfor, but accidently sold them to vendor, and didn’t realize this until the next day).

Honestly, I got more rubies farming Bloodstone Fen, doing events, hitting every Bloodstone Crystal node, etc. in a couple of days versus the time it would take me to do the PvP reward track.

I mean, I might do the reward track if PvP wasn’t such a cesspool. <_<

If you want your rubies back, you can send in a ticket to customer support. They usually pretty good with things like that.

I have been farming Bloodstone Fen long enough to buy two rings. I selected Viper Stats for one and Sinister Stats for the other.

However, I can only equip one at a time. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is or how to fix it.

Because you can only equip 1 ascended accessory/ring with the same name. Changing the stats doesn’t change the name. You can infuse or attune one and equip 2 that way, as long as they both don’t share the same name.

im curious whats going to happen to people who dont have any of the seasons and have no way to get the new stat selection . which would make other players more powerful than them

Thanks, I didn’t know that. A stupid rule if you ask me with Viper trinkets being so tough to get.

I personally just use 1 bloodstone ring, 1 petrified wood accessory, and the put a sinister from SW in the other slot.
