So, since the next batch of ascended gear is coming out next week, we’re finally getting Carrion/Valkyrie ascended stat gear too after six+ months like promised right?

Or is this going to be overlooked again with some poorly made attempt at hedging on what was meant by “batch” to attempt to save face?

Hopefully the wait is over, although there is obviously some healthy skepticism given the track record here.

Arkard, still fighting windmills eh … personally, given the nearly 7 months that have passed, I will be very surprised if they EVER release ascended Carrion and Valkyrie.

But I hope I’m wrong.

All I know is they obviously didn’t listen to anything in that Ascended Items feedback thread. Can’t wait to carry around 1,000 pieces of ascended equipment making it exactly as cumbersome as Exotics except not being able to get them on alts as well due to ridiculous amount of time gated equipment.

Actually from what I recall of the mega thread on the subject, most “active” people on the forums didn’t want it. Now, how that directly relates to active players is another story. Me personally, I’m just about finished with the game since PvE gets more updates relating to content and equipment compared to WvW. Ascended gear is just another nail in the coffin.
