One thing really worries me about the new influx of Ascended items, and that is if Anet decides to nerf your build.

I currently run a power necro, so if I grind for months to get all ascended gear that fits the build, then Anet decide to nerf the build into oblivion, making the build next to useless… then what? I can’t give the trinkets/weapons to a different character.

For some crazy reason they are all soulbound to that individual character!! Makes no sense.

odd are they wont nerf it to oblivion, they’ll try to bring in in line with everything else. If you want to be a power necro you’ll still be able to run it, and odds are it’ll still be one of necros strongest builds anyways.

I don’t see what the problem is, you can’t throw your exotic gear from character to character either, and we don’t know if the ascended items will be account bound, or tradable.
