Underwater combat and maps is an area that has great potential for good development!

Ascended breathers have been in the game for over a year.

It’s just Anet adding incentive that doesn’t do jack, nor show any signs of creativity. Nothing new.

Or a foreshadow that the deep sea dragon is going to become active.

It’s not common, but at least a couple times a year I get into an epic underwater duel in WvW. I’ll probably get an ascended breather for my main at some point.

It’s nice for the people that like to max out all their HoT stat gear. My viper necro main is very happy.
