I got Beigarths weapon chest the other day off the Legendary Wyvern in Verdant Brink, has anyone else gotten any ascended drops? If so where?

Got a chest piece and a few rings all asce in WvW. I believe the chests drop anywhere its just rare

Lost count on the amount i’ve found in fractals.

They can be obtained from alot of chests/boxes, just very rare.

I’ve only ever gotten rings from WvW rank chests, but I know they can come from a lot of places. I think they can come from most places exotic equipment can drop, but they’re much rarer (and exotic drops are pretty rare).

They drop a lot from the daily Tiered fractals. The cumulative odds are roughly around 8.9% for tier 4. (Tier 3 over 4%; tier 2 over 1%; tier 1 about 1 chance in 400).

The next most-reliable drops are from WvW, especially rank-up chests. However, there’s very little data to estimate the rate. Nearly everyone I know that spends hours and hours per week in WvW has gotten a few.

In addition, nearly anything which can randomly drop an exotic can also drop an ascended box. However, the drop rates are so low that you can safely pretend it’s 0. (It’s not as bad as BL keys or precursors, but it’s not good enough to measure reliably either.)

tl;dr they drop from all sorts of things, but the rate is so low you can pretend it’s 0
(exception: Tier 4 fractals dailies and to a lesser extent, lower tiers, and WvW seems to be decent, too)

Just about everything has a chance at droping and ascended chest

Of course Teq and Triple Wurm have have aa chance to drop unique skinned ascended gear as well as the regular lot.

I’ve gotten from bags, Teq, guild mission I think, HoT meta, and I think one dropped during a Season 1 meta event.

The morons nerf the drop ration an every way to make gold so you can give real money they even nerf the drop ratio for the ascended chest in fractals but they say nothing to the people i make fractals every day back in the glory days wen gw2 got logic in it i was take 5 ascended boxes per month for the runs in high tear now i get one an some times i get nothing fix the game you suns of beaches.

What’s your evidence that drop rates were changed?
